Créations En Cours (Ongoing Creations)

Since 2016, nearly five hundred projects led by young artists have been supported and accompanied by Création en cours.

Artists receive support during the time they are doing research, experimentation and of course creation, which includes transmission to students in the 4th and 5th grades, in schools and regions which offer little in the way of cultural education, in rural and suburban areas as well as those abroad. The concept of articulation and the porosity between acts of creation, sharing and transmission are at the heart of the identity of this program.

The Création en cours program includes support for creation as well as accompaniment toward the professional placement of artists, transmission to students, and enhancing the cultural presence everywhere.

Introduced into the momentum of the program called Assises de la Jeune Création (Foundations for Young Creation), Création en cours is a national program for support for artistic emergence, under the auspices of the Ateliers Médicis, with support from the French Ministry of Culture in partnership with the Ministry of National Education.
